BBQ AT LAVENDER OAKS CARE HOME
My brother Colin Bocarro, has been a resident at the luxury “Lavender Oaks Care Home” for almost 8 years where today we spent a lovely afternoon at the yearly BBQ.
We are most thankful for the wonderful care he receives from the staff who treat him with such kindness and respect that really feels like home for him which gives us great peace of mind. 🙏 It’s hard to see my brother’s condition worsening but I’ll always be proud to call him my brother, holding onto the wonderful memories and the time we still have together.”

Colin was one of my favorite scout leader when I was in the Boy Scout in Zanzibar. He was kind, fair and strict. I have warm memories of him. Please give him my best wishes.

Hi Tony your memories of Colin as a Scout Leader are truly precious, and it warms our hearts to know he had such a profound impact on you. He still remembers his days as Scout Leader and the time when funds were needed for tents, he suggested a concert which I too can still remember as a huge success. Now it’s only the very old memories he can just about remember which keep him happy and that’s all we can ask for! We’re grateful for the care and love he receives at Lavender Oaks 🙏

Hi Betty, Colin was our scout leader. I remember those days he and Edward Nazareth were very strict.
When I saw Colin I had tears in my eyes. This guy was so clever he got 1st Grade.

Albert, it's amazing how memories can bring tears to our eyes, and I'm so glad you're keeping those memories of Colin alive. Yes he was a clever guy with his 7 A’s and 1st Grade Senior Cambridge Certificate. I laugh so much when I remember your camping scout trip joke about cooking your own food🤣 xx
